Shawn Leonard

Owner

For Shawn Leonard, caring for the people of San Angelo isn’t just a profession—it’s personal.

Born and raised in San Angelo, Shawn has spent his life building strong roots in the community he proudly calls home. After raising his own family here, he understands the importance of neighbors helping neighbors and treating every patient like family.

Shawn began his career as a licensed Respiratory Therapist, gaining valuable clinical experience and developing a deep understanding of the needs of patients and their families. In 1996, he founded Texas OxyCare with one simple goal: to provide hometown service backed by clinical expertise and genuine compassion. Today, Texas OxyCare remains locally owned and operated and is proud to be San Angelo’s only hometown provider of home medical equipment and respiratory care.

Over the years, Shawn has helped thousands of patients and families find the equipment they need to live healthier, more independent lives. Whether it’s oxygen therapy, CPAP supplies, mobility equipment or other home medical products, he believes every patient deserves personalized attention, education and the confidence to use their equipment safely and effectively.

Shawn’s commitment to exceptional customer service, honesty and reliability has earned the trust of local physicians, healthcare providers and generations of families throughout San Angelo and the surrounding communities.

When he’s away from the office, Shawn enjoys spending time outdoors. As a fourth-generation rancher in West Texas, working the land and being outdoors have always been an important part of his life. He enjoys the hard work, wide-open spaces and traditions that come with ranching and takes pride in carrying on his family’s West Texas heritage.

His passion for serving his hometown continues to be the driving force behind Texas OxyCare, where patients aren’t just customers—they’re neighbors.

Brandi Leonard

Owner

For Brandi Leonard, caring for patients has never been just a career—it has been her life’s calling.

A lifelong resident of San Angelo, Brandi has dedicated more than 25 years to improving the lives of patients throughout West Texas. She began her career as a Registered Nurse before earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Angelo State University and becoming an Advanced Practice Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her experience includes hospitals, specialty clinics, operating rooms and home healthcare, where she has combined compassionate care with advanced clinical expertise.

Before joining Texas OxyCare, Brandi built an award-winning career in medical device sales and clinical support with Medtronic and St. Jude Medical. She partnered with physicians across Central and West Texas to introduce innovative technologies that improved mobility, relieved chronic pain and enhanced patients’ quality of life. Her ability to combine clinical expertise with patient advocacy earned her recognition as a top-performing sales executive and trusted resource for healthcare teams throughout the region.

Since joining Texas OxyCare in 2015, Brandi has helped expand the company’s services while maintaining a strong focus on exceptional patient care. She played a key role in developing the Home Sleep Testing program, securing contracts that expanded access to home medical equipment and strengthening vendor partnerships to bring advanced respiratory, mobility and home care products to the Concho Valley. Her nursing background also helps patients and families understand their equipment and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Brandi has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Angelo State University, helping educate future nurses in pediatric, obstetric and medical-surgical care. She believes investing in future healthcare professionals is another way to strengthen the community she loves.

Outside the office, Brandi’s greatest joy is her family. She and her husband, Shawn, have built both a family and a business together while raising their two children, Hanah and Colin. She enjoys preparing homemade Italian meals, entertaining family and friends and cheering on her children.

At Texas OxyCare, Brandi is proud to combine decades of clinical experience with the warmth of hometown service—because caring for her neighbors has always been at the heart of everything she does.

Tina Sosa

Respiratory Therapist

With 21 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in the durable medical equipment setting, Tina Sosa has had the privilege of helping patients and their families navigate the challenges that can come with respiratory conditions and home medical care. Her career has been centered around one of the things she values most: caring for people and making a positive difference in their lives.

Tina is passionate about providing compassionate, personalized care and helping patients feel supported, comfortable and confident in managing their healthcare needs at home.

In addition to her experience as a Respiratory Therapist, Tina spent three years working as a Certified Nurse Aide with Hospice of San Angelo. This experience deepened her understanding of the importance of compassionate care, dignity and kindness, especially during some of the most difficult moments in a patient’s and family’s journey. As a Spanish-speaking healthcare professional, Tina can connect with and serve a broader range of patients and families throughout the community.

Tina’s Catholic faith is an important part of who she is and guides the way she approaches both her personal life and her work. She is a proud mother of four children, and her family is her greatest blessing. Her pride and joy are her twin grandsons, Noah and Jonah, who bring tremendous love and happiness to her life.

Tina is grateful for the opportunity to continue doing what she loves—caring for patients and helping others. Combining her years of respiratory care experience with her passion for serving people makes her work deeply meaningful. She is proud to be part of the Texas OxyCare team and looks forward to continuing to make a positive difference in the lives of the patients and families they serve.

Victoria Herrera

Insurance Billing Specialist

Victoria Herrera has built a 13-year career in the insurance industry, bringing valuable experience and knowledge to her role as an Insurance Billing Specialist at Texas OxyCare. She enjoys helping patients navigate the often-confusing world of insurance and benefits while working to ensure they have the information and support they need to receive the medical equipment and services that are right for them.

Victoria believes that being dependable, thorough and compassionate can make a meaningful difference in a patient’s healthcare experience. She works behind the scenes to help ensure the billing and insurance process runs as smoothly as possible for patients and their families, and she takes pride in using her years of experience to contribute to a positive, supportive experience.

Outside of work, Victoria’s favorite role is being a wife and mom to two wonderful children. Her family is also blessed with four beloved fur babies who bring plenty of love, laughter and excitement into their lives. Victoria enjoys spending quality time with her family and making lasting memories together. Some of her favorite activities include curling up with a good book, traveling and discovering new places, enjoying the great outdoors and simply spending time with the people—and pups—she loves most.

Victoria is grateful to be part of the Texas OxyCare family and to have the opportunity to use her years of insurance experience to help make the healthcare journey a little easier for patients and their families. She finds it truly rewarding to know that her work can make a positive difference in the lives of those she serves.

Destiny Enloe

Delivery Driver II

With eight years of experience in the healthcare field, Destiny Enloe brings a strong passion for helping others and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of patients and families. She began her healthcare career at Shannon Medical Center, where she spent three years working in the “War Room,” gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. For the past five years, Destiny has proudly been part of the Texas OxyCare team.

As a Delivery Driver II, Destiny plays an important role in ensuring patients receive the equipment and support they need. Her contributions extend well beyond deliveries, as she assists with numerous areas of daily operations, including ordering parts and supplies, providing reception support and helping with computer technology needs. Her willingness to step in wherever she is needed makes her a valuable asset to both her coworkers and the patients Texas OxyCare serves.

Destiny’s passion for helping people is at the heart of everything she does. She takes pride in being part of a team dedicated to caring for others and helping make a difference in the lives of patients throughout the community.

Outside of work, Destiny’s greatest joy is her family. She is a loving wife and proud mom to two young boys who keep her family active and always on the go. When she’s not busy with her family, Destiny enjoys building LEGOs, spending quality time with the people she loves and embracing her love for all things Scooby-Doo.

Steve Campos

Delivery Driver

For Steve Campos, serving others is more than a job—it’s a reflection of his faith and the values he lives by every day.

As a Delivery Driver at Texas OxyCare, Steve brings a lifetime of experience in serving people and a strong commitment to treating every patient with kindness, respect and compassion. Before joining Texas OxyCare, Steve retired from UPS in 2024 after an impressive 36-year career as a route driver. His years of experience taught him the importance of reliability, dependability and building genuine relationships with the people he serves—qualities he now brings to his work delivering medical equipment to patients throughout the community.

Steve is a devoted husband to his wife of 35 years, Lorraine. Together, they are proud parents and grandparents, with a daughter, Emily, son-in-law, Justin, and their new granddaughter, Pierson. Steve and Lorraine also have a daughter, Olivia, and a son, Julian, who bring even more joy and meaning to their family. Spending time with the people he loves most is one of Steve’s greatest joys.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys staying active by working out and spending time outdoors. He loves boating, fishing and gardening—activities that allow him to enjoy the outdoors and make the most of his time with family and friends.

Steve’s Christian faith is an important part of who he is and how he approaches life. He strives to live out God’s grace and mercy each day and believes in sharing Christ’s love with others through his words, actions and the way he serves those around him.
